About: The AIP National Congress was held in Canberra December 7 to 11, 2014 at Australian National University (ANU). Presenters were encouraged to incorporate the theme of the meeting “Art of Physics” into their presentations and there were displays of science-art works.

Presentations from the Laser Lab at Flinders University included:

  • Exhibition of ‘Quantum Conversations –Art of Fluorescence’ in the main hall giving a chance to share this work with the science community.
  • Presentation titled ‘New insights into Methyl Rotors from Two-dimensional Laser Induced Fluorescence’ by Dr Jason Gascooke
  • Poster titled ‘Quantum Conversations and Art of Fluorescence – 2 Dimensional Laser Induced Fluorescence’ by Dr Ula Alexander
