Science Alive 2015

Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) at Science Alive! 2015

Quantum Conversations – Art of Fluorescence‘ images of light from molecules are be part of the South Australian Royal Australian Chemical Institute‘s (RACI) display for the 10th annual Science Alive! event from August 7 to 9 2015 held at the Adelaide Showgrounds, South Australia. Science Alive 2015 is the largest science event in the southern hemisphere and includes displays from over 50 science organisations.  In the 2015 International Year of Light, the theme of the RACI display is chemistry, light and colour.

The ‘Quantum Conversations – Art of Fluorescence‘ images of light collected from molecules are a demonstration of how chemists use light to identify and understand molecular behaviour. Works on display include images from recent experiments along with images displayed for South Australian Living Artist’s Festival SALA 2012 and Australian Institute of Physics (AIP) congress 2014.
